The Red Deer Advocate is a Canadian English language newspaper based in Red Deer, Alberta. It publishes twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. The Advocate was founded in 1906 as the Red Deer Rustler. It is currently owned by Black Press. The paper has a circulation of approximately 16,000 copies. The Red Deer Advocate is a member of the Canadian Community Newspapers Association.
