The Hindustan is one of India's oldest publications. Ramnath Goenka created it in 1924, and it is now owned by the Hindustan Times Group. Hindustan is a Hindi newspaper with a daily circulation of more than 4 million copies.

The publication is noted for its independent reporting and investigative journalism. Over the years, it has received various accolades, including the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service in 1972.
