The Chronicle-Journal is a Canadian daily newspaper serving the communities of Thunder Bay and surrounding areas in Northwestern Ontario. It is the only daily newspaper in the region.

The Chronicle-Journal was founded in 1907 as The Fort William Daily Chronicle by J. Wesley Allison and James M. Osler. It merged with The Port Arthur Daily News in 1944 to form The Chronicle-Journal. The newspaper is currently owned by Postmedia Network Inc..

The Chronicle-Journal is published in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. It has a circulation of approximately 20,000 copies Monday to Friday and 30,000 copies on Saturday.

The Chronicle-Journal's editorial positions are generally considered conservative. The newspaper endorsed the Conservative Party of Canada in 2006, 2008, and 2011 federal elections. It also endorsed the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario in the 1995 and 1999 provincial elections.
